Library Closure: Thursday, June 4
The Hiram E. Deats Memorial Library is getting a new roof thanks to a Historic Preservation Grant it received recently from Hunterdon County. Local company Strober Roofing and Maintenance will handle the project which will replace the 45-year-old existing roof and skylight. Work will begin on Wednesday, June 3 and be finished on Friday, June 5. Because of this project, the library will be closed on Thursday, June 4. HCHS thanks Hunterdon County for its support by funding this much-needed work through its Historic Preservation Grant via the Hunterdon County Open Space Trust Fund. Our museum will reopen on June 6 to participate in Flemington’s annual house tour.
