Collection No. 251: Housel Family Photograph Album (ca. 1880 – 1960). This collection includes the contents of a family photograph album. The primary family is identified by the donor as the Housel Family of Pleasant Run, although many of the images are from allied families such as Carkuff and Van Doren. Collection No. 257: the Kitchin Family Collection (1869-2007). The primary focus of this collection is a general appreciation of Hunterdon County history and culture. There is a focus on the Kitchin family specifically in the form of photographs of multiple family members, as well as a marriage certificate and bridal book from Harold Kitchin’s wedding. Collection No. 262: Hunterdon County Agricultural Society (1857-1988). This collection contains a variety of documents and memorabilia related to the Hunterdon County Agricultural Society. There are programs, tickets, and badges from the Hunterdon County Agricultural Society fairs dating between 1857-1890, as well as programs and news articles from other agricultural fairs held in Hunterdon County, including the New Jersey State Agricultural Fair and Flemington Fair. Collection No. 263, the Willis Vail Glass Plate Negative Collection (1891-1922). This is a collection of 117 glass plate negatives taken by Willis W. Vail of Quakertown NJ. It includes photographs of New Jersey sites, including many railroad sites, as well as photographs taken on Vail’s travels to Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. Collection No. 264: Josie Sherry Papers (1933-1942). This collection comprises a group of scrapbooks, photograph albums, and autograph albums compiled by Josie Sherry during the mid 1930s and early 1940s.
