1. Remembering Bill Hartman Bill Hartman was one of those people whose death comes as a blow to anyone who knew him, including me. I have not yet seen an obituary for him in the Hunterdon County Democrat, which seems odd considering how important he was to so many of us. So, to help fill the gap, I’m writing my own.
2. The Sergeantsville Inn, part 2 Imagine my surprise when I discovered I had missed a significant part of this building’s history, from 1830 to 1849. Thanks to Dennis Bertland, I am now rectifying that oversight, and happy to discover more about this intriguing place. Chapter 2 only covers the years 1830-1838, but a lot went on during that time.
