Goodspeed Histories: Howell House Part III

This week we present the final installment of The Howell House. This episode actually has as much to do with Eliza Scarborough’s lovely stone house on Route 523 as it does the old Howell house on Worman Road. It also includes an explanation for how Worman Road came about, and the private lane that preceded it, illustrated by a wonderful map by Austin Davison. Part of the house’s history includes the family of Jacob Warman, who married into the Bodine and Ent families, who were also neighbours. So, I’ve added two new family trees to the website, for the Bodines and the Ents.
