Hunterdon County Historical Society
Flemington Children’s Choir School graduates from 1928. The school was founded in 1895 by Elizabeth Van Fleet Vosseller and Elizabeth Hopewell, and sought to train the junior choirs of the churches in Flemington. Vosseller, through her work with the choir, became a nationally known and respected figure in the world of choir schools. Her instructional books were highly revered by religious musical programs.
