Goodspeed Histories: The Barns-Bearder Farm
This week the saga of properties in the old Haddon tract continues, but this time I wander into the 700 acres once owned by Daniel Robins. I wrote quite a bit about Robins in a series of articles on Buchanan’s Tavern a couple years ago. Seems like there’s always more to say. This week’s article focuses on the farm just east of the Andrew Bearder farm, which Robins probably sold to Thomas Kitchen in the 1730s. And it goes on from there: The Barns-Bearder Farm.
Best wishes for a happy (if chilly) weekend,
Marfy
